"This made it a lot of fun for her (Age 7) and she was tested at the beginning of Grade 2 and she's reading like a Grade 7 in the seven month according to their standard test.  The whole key to it is making it "fun" for them so that it's not work it's just fun.  This changed her whole attitude towards learning to read by any methods.  We also tried to teach her the Phonics method.

"She absolutely loves it (Age 4)!   Every night, "Mom, can we play the letter game, the Rainbow game"? and she loves writing on that little board.

"I play this with my girls.  They love it.  It gets them away from computer keyboards and learning how to actually write and form the words themselves, they will have a blast.

Once they start playing the game with the kids, they will have fun, the kids will enjoy it and they will learn how to read."

"I liked that I answered most of the clues and what I disliked is that I didn’t look properly.

"We really like it.  It’s a fun game that got the kids (Ages 5 and 8) involved and they were learning at the same time. "

"My daughter’s teacher came up to me today and said:

“You should be very proud of her.  She is the only one in the whole school that got straight ‘A’s and she is a pleasure to have in my class. She does not showboat and always helps other kids.

I think a lot of that was due to her early reading ability because it made her comprehension better not having to stumble over the words.

She rarely makes a mistake in spelling and is way above her Grade 5 level.  It also gave us time to concentrate on math because she did not have to worry about spending time learning to read.”

I believe the Rainbow Treasure Hunt game had a great impact in helping to achieve these results."

"When I got the Rainbow Treasure Hunt game for Zachary, I thought to myself, he's not going to like it.  Well he surprised me!  Zachary was born on December 21, so he started school when he was 3 years old and he was the youngest in his class.  All he wanted to do was play and not learn how to write or read.

When he first played the game I was amazed on how much he was getting into it.  He was watching his friends running around to try to find the clue cards.  Zachary being very competitive, tried even harder to find them.  He enjoys the game very much, even so, that one day we were alone at home, with no friends, and I asked him if he wanted to play the Treasure Hunt.  He was enjoying himself so much that we did the alphabet twice and he didn't even ask for the treasure after we finished playing (good thing as I didn't have anything to give him!).

I would recommend this learning game to anyone who has little ones at home.  It's a very good way to get your kids to learn how to write and read while playing. "
